Medicare Mental Health Centres — Logan & Redlands

National mental health reform partners

NFP Projects helped bring two Medicare Mental Health Centres to life in Logan and Redlands — expanding free, walk-in mental health support for local communities.

As part of a national reform, the centres remove traditional barriers to care, offering immediate, no-referral access to support, assessment and ongoing care pathways.

We led across delivery and operational readiness — aligning facilities, workforce, governance and service models to ensure both centres were safe, functional and ready for day-one operations.

Co-designed with community and stakeholders, the model is grounded in accessibility, inclusion and lived experience.

  • Immediate mental health support and assessment
  • Short and medium-term care
  • Peer and clinical multidisciplinary support
  • Pathways to specialist and ongoing services

Outcome

Two high-functioning community hubs delivering practical, accessible mental health care at scale.
